This file consists of photocopies made for K.M. McLaughlin by the National Archives of Canada and consists of documents pertaining to the Acadian Club raid and the attempt to gain restitution from the government. The file contains copies of letters by N.A. Zick, President of the Acadian Club, W.G. Weichel, M.P., Sir Sam Hughes, Minister of Militia and Defence, and others, as well as a memorandum of damage done and recommendation of the Court of Inquiry. It also contains 2 photocopied chapters from Ontario and the First World War, 1914-1918: a collection of documents.

Young Women's Christian Association of Kitchener-WaterlooMaterial created or accumulated by Andrew Telegdi during his tenure as an Elected Alderman representing the City of Waterloo related to an agreement made between Canadian National Realty (CNR) and the City of Waterloo on November 4, 1985. The agreement involved a land exchange and a commitment by CNR to construct a building at the corner of Regina Street and William Street in Waterloo, Ontario to house the new city hall. However, Telegdi and others contested the land sale price and were concerned about the discovery of coal tar on the construction site and later in the regional water pumping station and wells. Records include correspondence, reports, and notes.

Image of Waterloo PUC and town officials at the tapping of an artesian well on Caroline St. in 1919. The group is seen standing on either side of the well, which is gushing with water. The well was capped in 1934; the accompanying news story also shows the gusher resulting from this same well being struck during construction of Waterloo Town Square in 1961.
