General note
Photo caption from published version of 61-57_001: "EXPANSION OUTLINED - Waterloo Park will increase in size by 80 per cent when a new area, shown by dotted line is developed, probably next year. The 104-year-old 42-acre section of the park is outlined by a white line. The new 34-acre area was originally acquired by the city several years ago for industrial sites but since then other sites have been purchased. Plans call for the new section to be divided into athletic areas with several ballfields, picnic areas, playgrounds, nature trails, a section for older people and acres of parking space. At left of the dotted line is the Sunshine Waterloo Company Ltd. plant and at extreme right is Dearborn street west. Seagram Stadium is in the foreground and MacGregor School is at lower left."
