Potter from the December 12, 1964 edition of the newspaper detailing the history of the home, its purchase from Eph Erb in 1911 and later sale to Irvin Erb. Potter includes other Schneider information discovered in a 1906 album issued to celebrate an old boys' reunion and the 100th anniversary of the settlement of the community.
