The press clippings feature articles regarding King George V’s Silver Jubilee, the death of King George V, the activities of King Edward VIII, as well as the children Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret. One photograph features King George VI and Queen Elizabeth possibly taken during the 1939 royal tour of Canada. Also includes a map of lakes in Ontario and a photograph of Lady Agnew of Lochnaw an oil on canvas portrait of Gertrude Agnew, the wife of Sir Andrew Agnew, 9th Baronet completed by John Singer Sargent in 1892.

Consists of six photographs of the Shand Dam site on the Grand River above Fergus, Ontario, during the construction phase. The following identifications are provided on verso:

• Shand : widening and deepening river diversion.
• Shand : looking west across dam showing forms for east wing wall;
• Shand : commencing concrete operations on east wing wall; Shand: pouring concrete by means of pumpcrete machine;
• Shand : east wing wall completed for winter, showing backfill; Shand : floor of spillway prepared for winter.

File consists of photographs relating to the construction of the Shand Dam, near Belwood, ON. Includes photographs of the construction progress, photographs taken from Belwood Road and Orangeville Road, and photographs of a group of men visiting the dam. File consists of four 1943 photographs of the Shand dam upon completion, a 1945 photograph of a body of water (either the Grand River or Lake Belwood, or possibly a flooded area), and 13 photographs of the area surrounding the Shand dam that was flooded by the reservoir before the dam was built.
