Various dignitaries who greeted the couple as they joined the car cavalcade, leaving for Cambridge, are included in the shots along with views of the Breslau Hotel, the railway tracks and the crowds that gathered to catch a glimpse of the couple.

The Concordia’s choir and the Dutch Boy Cadets are also seen singing and playing music during the event.

The negatives depict the royal couple at the Canadian National Railway (CNR) station in Kitchener boarding the royal train for the tour. Most of the negatives depict the Queen and Prince Philip waving from the back of the Caboose. The Krug Furniture factory in downtown Kitchener can be seen in the background.
