Carbon typescript transcript of Arthur Lang's diary prepared as a Christmas souvenir in 1907 by T.A. Lang in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. It includes a copy of a letter from one of Arthur Lang's granddaughters, giving some family background. Arthur Lang describes the sea voyage, scenery, and passengers on trip from Montreal, through the Lachine Rapids, to Prescott, Ontario. The diary also discusses Lang’s experiences inspecting land near the townships of Ramsay, Lanark, and Dalhousie in Lanark County, Ontario.

Correspondence sent and received by Andrew Telegdi during his tenure as a Member of Parliament primarily from constituents related to various topics including the Kyoto Accord and private members bill such as Bill C-283 An Act to amend the Food and Drugs Act (food labelling), Bill C-257 An Act to amend the Canada Labour Code (replacement workers), and Bill C-14 An Act to amend the Canada Post Corporation Act. The file includes one signed letter from Karen Redman, Member of Parliament representing Kitchener, congratulating Telegdi on receiving a Legacy of Leaders Award for the City of Waterloo. Also includes a copy of The Cambodia Daily volume 36, issue 38. The publication featured an article about Telegdi and was sent to Telegdi from a constituent.

File consists of an unaddressed letter written by Ella Anthes Cook, an unsigned letter received by Ella, and a letter and postcard received by Ella from H. Milton Cook. Postcard contains a photograph of Cook with two other men in front of a pavilion, Woodside [farm?], Waterloo.

Correspondence sent and received by Andrew Telegdi during his appointment as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister with special emphasis on Aboriginal Affairs. The correspondence documents a variety of topics including a meeting regarding Bowater Inc.’s investment in two First Nation joint venture sawmills in Thunder Bay, Ontario and Maniwaki, Quebec, the Perimeter Institute’s international summer school program for high school students and related efforts to enroll two students from Indigenous communities in Canada in the program, and more.

File consists of 34 letters, telegrams, and postcards received by Talmon Henry Rieder from family members, friends and others, including 17 letters from Martha Rieder and several from his children. Also present is a postcard received by Talmon Henry Rieder from [?] containing a photograph of the destruction caused by a tornado that hit Regina, Saskatchewan, on June 30, 1912, and an empty envelope with stamp.

File consists of approximately 23 pieces of incoming and outgoing correspondence (some carbon copies) with individuals and corporate bodies beginning with "F." File also contains some press clippings as well as photographs of Pollock posing in the Electrohome showroom and at the University of Waterloo for use in an advertisement in the Financial Post.

A contact sheet featuring 4 images of Correspondence Department staff with audio equipment used to support distance learning classes, 2 images of displays in the Arts Lecture Hall, and 6 images of the St. Jerome’s shuttle, a vintage car. All activities were likely associated with the University of Waterloo’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

Correspondence from Daniel Claus to Captain Matthews. The letter is regarding the capture of Peter Hansen and his servant as members of the rebellion by the Mohawk nation to be used to gather intelligence. The letter also mentions a contract for fresh meat, and that members of the village had been unwell. At this time Claus had been appointed deputy agent of the Six Nations in Canada under Frederick Haldimand.

Letter from Thomas H. Johnson to Colin Rankin's purchase of the "east half of lot 15 in the 14th [concession] of Papineau, containing 30 1/2 acres" at a rate of 50 cents per acre; a land grant certificate with seal dated June 14, 1881; a typescript reproduction of the text on the certificate; and a typescript description of the land accompanied by a hand drawn sketch.
