General note
Photo caption from published version of 49-1329_001: "BUILD $1,800 CRUISER - When the Crane brothers, 32 Charles St. South, Waterloo, started to build a 22-foot cruiser about a year ago they had no idea it would cost close to $1,800 to complete. Left to right, Jack, 19, Lewis, 24, and Ted, 20, spent all their space time and cash to finish the project. The boat has an inboard marine engine, which will develop 30 knots and will hold 12 people. Along with the cruiser, the boys designed a trailer carrier. All work on the craft was done by hand."
