Part of American Eugenics Party publication collection.

Publication released by the American Eugenics Party (AEP) on the dangers of white defective segregationists to civilization. The publication uses scientific racism to explain why “white defectives” are defective. The AEP identifies “white defective segregationists” as white people who “vote for leftists”, refuse to deport non-white Americans, and oppose birth control. The party suggests that they are the cause of the decline of current and past civilizations and cannot be "fixed" by propaganda and voting alone. Instead, the AEP suggests the use of “Eugenic Control” measures such as the sterilization of incarcerated white people and pregnant women on welfare. The AEP concludes that white defective segregationists and “stock abusing white defective segregationists”, white racists who are antisemitic and believe in Nordicism, need to be “denounced” and that the party welcomes support from the “non-whites” who support racial segregation.

Undemocratic Supreme Court.

Part of American Eugenics Party publication collection.

Publication by the American Eugenics Party (AEP) on their criticisms about the Supreme Court of the United States. The AEP first suggests that judges need to be elected “directly by the people” or appointed for a “short term by a politician elected by the people”. The publication then argues the Supreme Court has no place in a democracy and should be abolished altogether, as the AEP suggests the Supreme Court’s “interpreting” of the law often turns into an incorrect legislating of the law. The AEP discusses its disagreements with key legislative rulings that facilitated major judicial and electoral reforms and the end of de jure racial segregation, anti-miscegenation laws, discriminatory housing practices, and mandatory prayer in public schools calling them “extremist decisions”. The publication concludes that the current elective process is undemocratic and should be replaced by a “rule by many positive experts” approach.

American Eugenics Party
The ugliest race.
SCA545-GA546-7 · File · April 15, 1974
Part of American Eugenics Party publication collection.

Publication from the American Eugenics Party (AEP) on how the beauty of races are determined by scientific racism. The publication suggests there is a “degeneration” of beauty standards in society because they believe beauty has been incorrectly defined as being “dictated by environment or heredity”. The AEP argues that beauty is “hereditarily determined” by a “hereditary sensory mechanism” where a “normal” sensory mechanism prevents a person from having a physical appearance that is "not too predominant or too subdued” which determines beauty.

The publication outlines the “Basic Eugenic Program” as the promotion and preservation of “universal eugenic standards” through the implementation of “type”, “quality”, and “quantity” control. The Basic Eugenic Program designates different types of beauty for different purposes, and, for each purpose, the “one best” beauty type is determined by “quality comparisons” which follows the “maintenance of correct quantity” of the optimal beauty type.

Also included is an evaluation of Black Americans’ physical appearance rooted in scientific racism. The AEP suggests that Black Americans’ skin colour, facial features, “head shape”, “hair type”, “skin structure”, and “body type” represent the extreme deviations from the “positive” physical traits and appearances of white people therefore making them “the ugliest race”. The AEP provides an additional section titled “other negro negativities” which include discussions on mental faculties, sickle cell anemia, voice quality, and body weaknesses and odour. The publication concludes that all Black Americans “be settled in Africa” along with a call to help popularize eugenic principles.

Publication from the Americans Eugenics Party (AEP) outlining the different spectrums used to classify political parties and positions. The publication includes the diagrams of three spectrums: race outlook, economic outlook, and religious outlook. Each spectrum is comprised of three point-graded sections: “negative plus” (left on the spectrum), “positive” (centre of the spectrum), and “negative minus” (right on the spectrum).

Among the AEP’s classification of other parties and positions, the AEP is placed in the “positive” (centre) of all three spectrums. Some political parties and positions classified in the diagrams include: anarchist, socialism, communism, American Eugenics Society, “anti-negro only”, “anti-negro and oriental”, Nordicism, “Swede Supremacy”, National States Rights Party, Klu Klux Klan (KKK), American Nazi Party, Citizens Councils, “racist theism”, and “scientific non-racist theism”.

American Eugenics Party
Role of women in society.
SCA545-GA546-5 · File · [196-]
Part of American Eugenics Party publication collection.

Publication from the American Eugenics Party (AEP) on their stance on the role of women in society. The AEP suggest that women are "deviating from their proper role in society" and that the demands of feminism were more than necessary to correct any injustices imposed on women. The AEP proposes women are not exact equals or complete opposites of men, but that “similarities”, “compliments”, and “opposites” in mental faculties exist. As such, the AEP argue the correct role of women in society is one where women’s complimentary mental faculties help men do “inventive” work that advances society while women’s opposite mental differences make them “more important in the home”.

To support their arguments about the differences between men and women, the AEP list several pseudo-scientific claims about women having smaller brains and lower IQs. The AEP also suggest women possess a “soft-on-negroes instinct” which leads to integration in society, and that genetic mixing is rampant among white women and Black men. In addition to helping “cause dysgenics and socialism”, the AEP suggests that equal roles for women in society will lead to an increase in mental illness and suicides in women, traffic accidents, and “disharmonies” and “unhappiness” in the family. The AEP concludes that their approach to the role of women in society is the balanced middle ground between the two extremes, “equalitarian” and “over-dependent”.

American Eugenics Party
Nordic supremacy myth.

Publication released by the American Eugenics Party (AEP) on Nordicism. The AEP draw on various publications and studies to argue that Nordicism is unscientific and full of “contradictions”. To address these contradictions, the AEP provides a list of claims made by Nordicists and corresponding counterarguments. Some of these include the suggestions that Nordicists are involved in “race-mixing” despite opposing the genetic mixing of races, and that, contrary to Nordicists’ claims, there are higher rates of mental illness and illegitimate births among Nordic people than non-Nordic people. The publication also provides rebuttals to various claims and antisemitic stereotypes that Nordicists make about Jewish people. Overall, the publication argues Nordicism is preventing the “attainment of a Eugenic society” by causing “inter-caucasian strife”. The AEP concludes that it advocates “Caucasian Supremacy” and not Nordic supremacy.

Intelligent Americans.

Handbill released by the American Eugenics Party (AEP) seeking donations to support the party’s eugenic mission. Addressed to "intelligent Americans", the handbill outlines what the AEP believes to be society’s most pressing problems and its solutions. The handbill cautions the dangers of “crime rate and population increase” among Black Americans, "degenerate” multi-racial Black Americans, and Asian people having access to nuclear weapons. The handbill criticizes the United States government and other racist organizations for being incorrectly occupied with “mongrelization”, antisemitism, and Nordicism advising instead to focus on the “real political objectives” of deporting all "non-caucasian" Americans, controlling “White Defectives”, and regulating the population’s quantity and quality. The handbill concludes that “racism must be upgraded to Eugenic Standards” along with a plea for donations and an advertisement to purchase AEP literature.

American Eugenics Party

Correspondence from the American Eugenics Party (AEP) to the National States Right Party (NSRP). The letter outlines three points of critique to an article published in The Thunderbolt, a tabloid newspaper run by the NSRP, about the 1967 Arab-Israeli conflict.Their response attempts to dispel the claims made about Jewish people. The AEP first addresses the NSRP’s claim that Arab people are more right-wing than Israeli Jewish people by suggesting instead that “Arabs are more leftist than Israel” and that “Jews can be easily identified as caucasians” compared to Arab people, who “appear sub-caucasian”. The AEP then distinguishes between Jewish people in Israel and those in the Soviet Union, stating that “Soviets are not only anti-Judaism but also anti-Jew", to dispel the NSRP’s claim that there is political allegiance among all Jewish people. The AEP also refutes the NSRP’s suggestion that Jewish people are more predisposed to mental illness. The letter concludes urging the NSRP to change their position on Jewish people for the sake of maintaining unity among white racists.
