New Health Services Building, for all full-time students, provides emergency care for anyone on campus as well. In photo on right [68-10-05_001] Dr. Helen Reesor, Senior Physician, (foreground) examines student. Photos below show (left) [68-10-05_002] living quarters contained in building for Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wood. Mrs. Wood, R.N., is evening nurse; Mr. Wood, retired, is serving as caretaker. On the right [68-10-05_003], Mrs. Phyllis Livingston, R.N., Nursing Supervisor, is seen with student. Staff includes five nurses, two relief nurses and four doctors who give a total of 20 hours per week. Bottom photo [68-10-05_004] shows waiting room overlooking the lake. Health Services handles an average of 105 students per day, with anything from viruses and fractures to an emergency appendectomy."
