Photo caption from published version of photos: "SWIMMING MEET. Scenes above are from women's swim meet in Physed pool Friday. Waterloo's "natatorium", regarded as one of the fastest short course pools in North America, attracted top talent including teams from Arizon State University (winners), Michigan State, Michigan, Toronto, Ball State (Indiana).

Other weekend events saw Western win invitational squash tournament; Queen's win women's invitational skiing meet at Collingwood (Athenas in fourth place), and Guelph win men's (Warrior's fifth).

In basketball, Athenas beat Windsor Lancerettes 54-53 Saturday, at Windsor. Volleyball Athenas also won (over Windsor).

Waterloo wrestlers finished second to Western in Guelph invitation meet. Men's swim team lost to Toronto in meet held at UofT. Dennis McGann won long jump and high jump for Central Ontario in an Ontario-Quebec indoor track meet at CNE, Toronto, Saturday."
