Photo caption accompanying published photos: "FLOWERS BLOOM PROFUSELY - Moist warm weather of the summer has aided nature in producing beautiful flowers this year. Mrs. Josephine Wanklin, 77, of New Hamburg, better known as "Mom," watched this hydrangea start from a single bloom five years ago. Ann, left, and Eileen Wanklin, top photo [47-627_001], examine the plant's 65 blooms with her. Below [missing from envelope, no suitable substitute], an unusual Spanish plant, similar to a hollyhock, this year bloomed at the Waterloo Club. It was the first time in seven years the plant had produced blooms of such quality and quantity. One plant has 105 blooms."
