File contains a commemorative article documenting the lifetime achievements of Constance Irene Hayward, in addition to a tribute to Constance Irene Hayward by J.R.C. Perkin which appears to have formed part of her memorial service which seems to have taken place on April 10, 1982.
Finally, this file contains a clipping (n.d.) reporting that a French environment residence at the University of Acadia has been officially named in memory of Constance Irene Hayward. The unveiling of a plaque and photograph of Miss Hayward by chancellor Alex Colville formed part of the official dedication ceremony.

General note
Constance Irene Hayward (1906-1982) served as a lecturer and organizer for the League of Nations Society of Canada between 1934-1938. She also served as secretary of the Canadian National Committee on Refugees and as liaison officer in the Citizenship Branch of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration. She made significant contributions to refugee work. In 1969 she was appointed to the Board of Governors of Acadia University and she also became a member of the University's Senate. She died on April 8, 1982.
