File consists of material relating to the Hush Puppies brand mascots, basset hounds Velvet and Jasmine, and in particular their disappearance in 1973. Includes press clippings (some photocopies), photographs of Velvet and other basset hounds, and the incoming and outgoing correspondence of Charles E. Greb with citizens concerned about the dogs. File also includes veterinary records and registration and transfer certificates for Jasmine from the Jamaica Kennel Club, and pedigree certificates for both dogs.
