General note
According to the donor, red jackets were briefly made available to students in the Faculty of Arts between 1960-1962. On March 14, 1963, a vote for the University of Waterloo official winter jacket was held in conjunction with the Student Council elections. As a result of this vote, it was decided that the winter jackets would be grey with gold lettering. However, it appears that jackets were available in other colours such as yellow by 1965.[1]
Physical description
The jacket was measured along the back length and by the shoulder width.
