    Biographical history

    Falstaff Press was a private United States publisher of erotica. Their first publication was Musk, Hashish and Blood in 1900. On November 26, 1935 Ben and Anne Rebhuhn and their nephew Ben Raeburn were charged with sending obscene matter through the mails. The three were convicted in May 1939.

    Prospectus for 'The real anthropological studies in the sexual relations of mankind, illustrated by Professor Paolo Mantegazza, professor of Anthropology at University of Florence, universally renowned author of 'physiology of love,' 'hygiene of love,; etc. etc. The greatest, completest and frankest book on the sex relations of all the races of mankind - includes unexpurgated information to be found in no other work.' The prospectus indicates that some topics covered include the conquest of woman, fidelity and adultery, male and female prostitution, and more. The purchase of the book is restricted to 'members of the learned processions and mature students of sexology and anthropology.'
