Following the ascension of Queen Elizabeth II on February 6, 1952, the Tudor Crown (or King’s Crown) was replaced by the St. Edward's Crown (or Queen's Crown) on Canadian military insignia.

Physical description

The enameled lapel pins feature three red maple leaves above a gold eagle on a light blue field. The Association's title is illustrated in gold letters on a dark blue scroll below. The leaves, eagle, and title are all surmounted by a St. Edward's Crown.
