Original quilted cotton 256.5 x 302.3 x 8 cm located at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa. In 1969, Joyce Wieland also completed a feature-length experimental film, titled Reason over Passion / La raison avant la passion. Joyce Wieland was a Canadian artist, filmmaker, and feminist activist born June 30, 1931-June 27, 1998 in Toronto Ontario. She was also appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada (OC).
