General note
Two photos missing from envelope appeared on Page 3 of the Thursday, July 25, 1957 edition of the newspaper.
General note
Photo caption from both missing photos: "PLASTIC CHIMNEY - Enroute to a location in Hespeler, this 60-foot plastic chimney made by Canada Barrels and Kegs, Waterloo, looks like an atomic cannon. The fibre-glass and plastic-covered metal stack is being tested by the firm. Plants using a solid metal stack usually have to replace them every six months because of corrosion."
