Lacey, ThomasPublication released by the American Eugenics Party on the dangers of white defectives. In other AEP publications, white defectives are defined as white people who are pro desegregation, but this publication takes pains to point out that there are many other white defectives who are segregationists. These white defectives have other negative traits such as having too many children, being involved in crime, responsibility for wars, and also for the downfall of past civilizations. Those who vote liberal are also likely to be white defectives who want handouts, but are "too mentally deficient to realize that those who promise handouts are also aiding the domestic and foreign enemies". The publication also discusses signs of decline in societies and examples of fallen societies and how they fell and how to prevent decline. The EAP believes that propaganda and voting are not sufficient tools to keep a society from declining, as most people are too mentally deficient to understand who to vote for.
