Graham R. Hill was appointed as External Reviewer for the University of Waterloo Library in June 2002 following the University’s decision to engage a chief librarian from a Canadian research university to conduct such a review. At the time, Hill was the University Librarian at McMaster University. The final external report was submitted to T. Gary Waller, Associate Provost (Academic & Student Affairs) at the University of Waterloo.
Mary Ann Mavrinac, Vice-Provost and Neilly Dean, River Campus Libraries, University of Rochester and Brent Roe, University Librarian, Laurentian University were appointed External Reviewers for the University of Waterloo Library in 2015 under the direction of Ian Orchard, Vice-President Academic and Provost.
