A passenger's coupon issued by Trans-Canada Air Lines for air passage between Stevenson Airport (now the James Armstrong Richardson International Airport) in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Malton Airport (now the Toronto Pearson International Airport) near Toronto, Ontario. The coupon was likely used by Cameron Hill to travel between airbases when he was enrolled in the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP).

One scrapbook kept by an unknown theatre goer. The book is specially made for theatre performances and features in index of the plays, and a two page spread devoted to each play. The left hand side of the page allows for written comments on the title, date and location of the play as well as impressions, and criticisms of the actors and performance. The right hand side of the page is intended to be used to paste in the playbill. In many entries newspaper clippings about the performance are also present. All of the productions were held at the Castle Square Theatre in Boston by the Boston Stage Society in 1904 and 1905. There are records for 80 plays. Some of the playbills also include advertisements.

Dingman, Mayor of Stratford, to present information about the Berlin electric plant and street railway during a dispute over the proposed purchase of an electric plant for Stratford. Includes a letter from W.S. Dingman to A.L. Breithaupt, A.L.B.'s notes, typescript carbon notes and financial statements of the Berlin Light Commission and of the Berlin and Waterloo Street Railway, and clippings concerning the arbitration.

The Sims family collection encompasses records of the Sims and Cook, Davidson and Garden families retained by members of the two family branches that came together when Harvey James Sims and Florence Katherine Roos married in 1902. Their Sims and Davidson forbears were equally significant in the history of the Waterloo-Wellington area and in the growth and development of agriculture, education, business and government. Harvey James Sims and Florence Katherine Roos were deeply involved in their local community of Berlin, (later Kitchener) Ontario and their own records contain significant additions to our knowledge of local personalities and affairs. Harvey was a childhood and lifelong friend of William Lyon Mackenzie King; they wrote and visited each other regularly. King's sister Bella was also a close friend of Florence from school days on.

File consists of one receipt, in French, for work performed by an enslaved Black female named Maria on a chain gang in New Orleans in 1825. Translation reads "Wages for negress on the chain: The city treasury will pay to Mr. D. Fitch the sum of 11 piastre and 50 cents for forty six days of work by his negress Maria, employed by the public works from August 9 to October 3." The document is signed by David Fitch and Precend Lament [?] and is dated at New Orleans, Oct. 3, 1825.

Attached to the receipt is what appears to be a clipping from the vendor catalogue which listed the item for sale. It reads:
"174. NEGRO CHAIN GANG LABOR RECEIPT. Printed document, in French, signed, one page, oblong small quarto. Nouvelle-Orleans, 1825. Interesting if not gruesome document. Receipt for labor in the chain gang performed by a negress."

Collection consists of 169 19th century American photographs. Included are 115 carte-de-visites, 40 cabinet portraits, 2 albums, 11 miscellaneous photographs and 1 envelope of miscellaneous business and greeting cards.

Most are albumen type photographs depicting various people including infants, children, and adults. The photographs come from various studios across the United States though the majority come from studios in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Illinois. The photographs, since rehoused, were originally housed in two albums decorated with an intricate relief on the cover and a metal clasp lock.

Album belonging to Mary Ann Kabel (later Martin) containing snapshots of her and her friends, friends' wedding photographs, and snapshots of John Gartshore Martin at the military school in Vernon, BC. Album also contains newspaper clippings and memorabilia. Clippings relate to news and announcements about Mary Ann's friends and other men from Kitchener-Waterloo serving in World War II (including deaths, injuries, etc.) and the weddings of Mary Ann's friends.

Material created or accumulated by Andrew Telegdi during his tenure as a Member of Parliament related to the official opening of six buildings in the Region of Waterloo that provided two hundred and forty-four units of affordable housing under the Canada-Ontario Affordable Housing Program. Andrew Telegdi attended this event and delivered a speech. Records include an invitation, event itinerary, a media advisory, a press release, speaking notes, and other textual material.

The speaker and special guest of the event was Shelia Copps, Member of Parliament representing Hamilton East and Minister of Canadian Heritage. The flyer features a picture of Andrew Telegdi on the front and a form for individuals to submit if they wanted to participate in Telegdi’s subsequent election campaign on the back.

Material created and accumulated by Andrew Telegdi during his tenure as a Member of Parliament when he accompanied Peter Mackay, then Minister of Foreign Affairs, to Budapest, Hungary to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Hungary Revolution and to participate in bilateral meetings in Warsaw, Poland between October 20-24, 2006. Records include invitations, programs, and correspondence such as a letter of welcome from Robert Hage, Canada's Ambassador to Hungary. Also includes tickets to events such as the Canada Salutes Hungary Gala in Budapest, Hungary, and a memorial publication published by the Hungarian Culture Centre Mindszenty Hall in Windsor, Ontario. In addition, the file contains a briefing book for Hungary and Poland as well as a presentation folder containing a program of events for celebrations in Hungary and other textual material.

A program for Hilde Maria English’s memorial service held on July 9, 2006 at the Centre for International Governance Innovation in Waterloo, Ontario. The program includes a list of participants and outlines the order of the service. The service included prayers, musical performances, and tributes. The Master of Ceremony was the Honourable Justice Patrick Flynn. Andrew Telegdi delivered a eulogy for Hilde English during the memorial service. The file also includes draft copies of Telegdi’s eulogy for Hilde English, handwritten notes, and related correspondence. Andrew Telegdi was close friends with Hilde English and her husband John English.

L.I. Fisk and Co., Springfield, Mass." There are also testimonials on the back cover which read "It has cured my chapped hands. I'll use no other and keep them so. It is a delight to all in the bath. Material accumulated by Andrew Telegdi related to the Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre’s equity and inclusion fundraising dinner held in his honour. Telegdi previously served as the President of the Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre and the dinner honoured his extensive contribution to the organization and the local community. The dinner was held on November 29, 2012 at Bingemans Conference Centre in Kitchener, Ontario. Records include a flyer invitation, itinerary, a guestbook, pin, program, and related correspondence including a letter from Justin Trudeau extending his congratulations to Telegdi. The file also contains a photograph of Telegdi and three unidentified individuals at an unknown event.
