Donated by the National Council of Women of Canada as part of the Lady Aberdeeen Memorial Library. The letters came to the National Council in 1965 from Mrs. Milner Wood.

Emily Bax (1882-1943) was born in London, England in 1882 and was educated at the Grey Coat Hospital Foundation School. She was the second woman to be employed as secretary at the American Embassy in London, and worked there from 1902 to December 1914. ... »
