This collection, donated to the University of Waterloo in 1988 by the family of the late Rosa Breithaupt Hewetson Clark and Spencer Clark, includes family papers from three families, the Breithaupt family, the Hewetson family, and the Clark family; records from the Guild of All Arts in Scarborough, Ontario, founded by Rosa Breithaupt Hewetson Clark and Spencer Clark; and several smaller collections acquired by the Breithaupt family and by Spencer Clark. The personal library of Spencer Clark, which includes many books, periodicals, government documents, and ephemeral items, was donated together with the archival collections, and is particularly strong in the fields of urban planning, architecture, and Canadian art.

Includes photographs of the family in different locations and participating in various social activities, the family home in Kitchener and their vacation home in Penetanguishene, studio photographs of several members of the family, trips and travels in Canada and Europe, and photographs of later members of the family in different locations. Some of the photographs appear to be from later descendants of John Christian Breithaupt and Carrie Breithaupt.

Also contains textual records related to the political campaign led by Louis Jacob Breithaupt (John Christian Breithaupt's brother) and a metal printing plaque for the wedding of Helen Esther Breithaupt (daughter of John Christian Breithaupt and Carrie Breithaupt).

Fonds consists of materials from many generations of the Bray family. Includes 26 items of correspondence sent to Abraham Bray, the first Bray family member to settle in Canada, as well as 19 diaries kept by later generations of the Bray family. Includes 18 diaries kept by (George) Murray Bray from the years 1929-1949 as well as one trip diary kept by his mother Florence Murray Bray detailing a variety of trips from 1892-1950.

Notes and ephemera relating to the history of the Meyer and Bowman families that were created or accumulated by Hervey Bowman. Includes genealogy records of Meyer family members in Switzerland and in Iowa, one item of correspondence from a family member seeking copies of the information, notes on the life of E.M. Bowman, a death certificate for Henry Rudy who died in Nashville, Tennessee during the American civil war, a list of Ferguson grandchildren, a note regarding Mr. Right's fence in Woolwich, and a note certifying John Meyer as an agent of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company.

Material relating to members of the Hoffman, Barnes, Schiedel, Bowlby, Davison and Carlisle families, primarily photographs. Includes correspondence, clippings, ephemera, photographs, including snapshots taken during early construction of the Westmount area of Kitchener, Ontario.

Fonds is comprised of materials related to the Bowlby-Boyd family of Emma Allen Boyd nee Bowlby and her husband Gardiner Boyd. Includes materials related to their children, as well as to Emma's family. Fonds is comprised primarily of photographs of various extended family members and friends, as well as of Emma's autograph book.

Material created or accumulated by the Honourable Andrew Telegdi related to his life and career. Records in this fonds document Telegdi’s early career as a bistro owner and rock music promoter in British Columbia as well as his experiences as a student at the University of Waterloo. In addition, the material records his work as an Executive Director for Youth in Conflict with the Law. Most notably, the fonds documents Telegdi’s extensive political career as a City and Regional Councillor as well as a Member of Parliament. This file consists of photocopies made for K.M. McLaughlin by the National Archives of Canada and consists of documents pertaining to the Acadian Club raid and the attempt to gain restitution from the government. The file contains copies of letters by N.A. Zick, President of the Acadian Club, W.G. Weichel, M.P., Sir Sam Hughes, Minister of Militia and Defence, and others, as well as a memorandum of damage done and recommendation of the Court of Inquiry. It also contains 2 photocopied chapters from Ontario and the First World War, 1914-1918: a collection of documents.

File consists of pages from a ledger book from the Acadian Athletic Club. The book includes meeting minutes from the first meeting, as well as for subsequent meetings, and accounts information.
