File consists of 13 photographs relating to events and activities in the Kitchener-Waterloo community in which Electrohome or CKCO-TV (Central Ontario Television Limited) played a role. Includes photographs of CKCO-TV camera operators and commentators at Queen Elizabeth's visit to Canada in June, 1973, and of W.D. McGregor being presented to Her Majesty; photographs of Prime Minister Trudeau visiting the CKCO-TV studio and meeting Carl A. Pollock; and photographs of Miss Oktoberfest, John A. Pollock presenting a cheque, and other subjects. File also includes a letter, a memorandum, and a typed news story outline about the Royal Visit.

The negatives depict the royal couple at the Canadian National Railway (CNR) station in Kitchener boarding the royal train for the tour. Most of the negatives depict the Queen and Prince Philip waving from the back of the Caboose. The Krug Furniture factory in downtown Kitchener can be seen in the background.

A scrapbook containing press clippings and a photograph of the British royal family. The press clippings feature articles regarding King George V’s Silver Jubilee, the death of King George V, the activities of King Edward VIII, as well as the children Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret. One photograph features King George VI and Queen Elizabeth possibly taken during the 1939 royal tour of Canada. Also includes a map of lakes in Ontario and a photograph of Lady Agnew of Lochnaw an oil on canvas portrait of Gertrude Agnew, the wife of Sir Andrew Agnew, 9th Baronet completed by John Singer Sargent in 1892.
