An entrance certificate awarded by the Ontario Department of Education to Dorothy Etta Russell (nee White) in Berlin, Ontario on July 18, 1916 upon her completion with honours of the requirements for entrance to a collegiate institute, high school or continuation school. The certificate is signed on behalf of the Entrance Board by D. Forsyth, chairman, and F.W. Sheppard, Secretary.

A certificate awarded by the Ontario Department of Education to Dorothy E. White on July 18, 1918 showing her successful completion in June 1919 of the examination requirements for entrance into normal schools and faculties of education. The certificate displays the subjects under examination and is stamped "Passed." It is signed by R.W. Anglin, Registrar of the Ontario Department of Education.

One school notebook with the printed title, Auto Girls, and a cover depicting girls seated in an early automobile. The notebook contains writing and arithmetic exercises by Dorothy Etta Russell (nee White). Also includes a clipping of a magazine cover: To-day's Magazine, vol VII, no. 13 (October 1, 1911).

One loose leaf notebook with hard cover bearing the printed title, Chapman's Science Notebook, containing notes and exercises by Dorothy Etta Russell (nee White) taken in a course of study on physics and chemistry during her enrollment in Form IIIB at the Kitchener and Waterloo Collegiate Institute.

A promotional notebook published in 1912 by the Alaska Feather & Down Co., Montreal, used by Dorothy Russell to record movies, plays and concerts she attended in Kitchener, Ont., Toronto, Sarnia, Chatham and Chicago, 1921-1928. Included are the names of actors and actresses, the theatre and the date.

One lined notebook, bearing the printed title Campfire notebook, containing notes by Dorothy Etta Russell (nee White) concerning the literary styles of different writers. The notes appear to have been taken in a literature class during her enrollment at the Kitchener and Waterloo Collegiate Institute.
