The interview includes discussions about Cowan's family background, their decision to come to Waterloo and the path that brought them here, as well as their thoughts about the institution and where it will be at 100 years old, in 2057. This paper was presented at the sixth Southeastern Conference on Combinatorics, Graph Theory, and Computing held at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida between February 17-20, 1975.
