The series consists of photographic negatives and prints created by Pirak Studios Limited, primarily featuring graduation portraits and class composites of University of Waterloo students. In addition, the series contains portraits of a selection of students who attended the University of Waterloo Engineer's Ball and Math Ball in 1980. The series also includes graduation portraits and class composites of students from Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Guelph, University of Windsor, York University, Conestoga College, Centennial College and Centralia College of Agricultural Technology as well as some high school students.
