Pearson (left photo) enjoyed a chat with former Waterloo mayor James Bauer (to his right) and former Kitchener mayor Keith Hymen at Kitchener city hall in 1965. Back in 1953 (right photo) he joked with former local MP N.C. Schneider as he showed his bow-tying technique at the Kitchener-Waterloo Press Club ceremony.
