William Tutte notebook.

William Tutte's manuscript notebook from his time as a student at Trinity College Cambridge. Manuscript includes graphs and formulas regarding the Four colour theorem or the Four colour map theorem (considered the central problem in graph theory). Notebook includes a folder with annotations made by Tutte referring to the content and pages with his annotations divided into twelve sections.

Student Wives Cook Book.

A cookbook created by members of the Student Wives Club in 1964 that included recipes for meat dishes, vegetables, desserts, and odds and ends. Examples of recipes include hamburger vegetable pie, cheese salad supreme, nervous pudding, potato fudge, and pink lady punch.

The cookbook was printed with a Gestetner offset printing machine and features pink polka dot covers.

Collection consists of 82 plans of gravel pits in Ontario. The plans have been collected by Wayne Caston, and he was involved in consulting in many of the projects. The records in this finding aid consist of information taken from an Excel spreadsheet created by Caston with details on each of the plans. A printout of the spreadsheet is also present in the collection. Plans are listed in the order originally provided by the donor on the spreadsheet.

Engineering Society gavel plaque.

A gavel plaque given to Paul Koch (BASc ’63) in recognition of his role as the first B Term President for the Engineering Society of the University of Waterloo (now Waterloo Engineering Society) from 1958-1959. The plaque was presented to Paul Koch during Engineering Nite '63, an event hosted by the Engineering Society. In addition to the gavel, the plaque features an engraving plate with the following inscription: PAUL KOCH / PRESIDENT / ENGINEERING SOCIETY / OF THE / UNIVERSITY OF WATERLOO / 1958-59.
