A certificate acknowledging that Cameron Hill served on active service with the Royal Canadian Air Force from October 14, 1940 and was honourably released and transferred to the Reserve, General Section, Class "E" on September 21, 1945.

The certificate also includes a brief physical description of Cameron, the dates he was held in custody as a prisoner of war, and a list of the two decorations and medals he received during active service. During active service, Cameron received the Canadian Volunteer Service medal and clasp as well as the Air Gunner's badge.
