In her talk with these camp counsellors Margaret Schreiter gives the counsellors advice and guidelines for carrying out their work at Camp Tinawatawa. Margaret Schreiter also puts questions to the group of counsellors asking them how they would react in certain situations during the course of their work with the camp.

Margaret Schreiter was "Camp Mother" at Camp Tinawatawa on Paradise Lake near Waterloo, Ontario between 1952 and 1959. The materials contained in this fonds include reports, the texts of presentations given by Margaret Schreiter, the outline of a discussion at a camp counsellors meeting led by Margaret Schreiter, correspondence, an ms. list, and a camp newspaper. These items help document Y.W.C.A. camping activities at the time.

This is a [2] p. ms. list of the camp counsellors, floaters, C.I.T.'s, and other staff at Camp Tinawatawa on Paradise Lake in 1959. The names and titles of these individuals appear in this list, and for the majority of individuals an address is also provided.

In this letter Marjory Shantz expresses her appreciation for Margaret Schreiter's "untiring efforts on behalf of our campers" in her role as "Camp Mother" at Camp Tinawatawa on Paradise Lake.

This letter relates to Margaret Schreiter's impending visit to Sydney and to the Triennial Convention of the Y.W.C.A. of Australia which will take place in Sydney during Margaret Schreiter's visit. Joyce McMillan asks that Margaret Schreiter contact her to let her know whether she will be attending this event. Joyce McMillan also mentions that the World President of the association, Hon. Miss Isabel Catto will be at this Convention.
