Additionally, he commented on the coordination, resources and information management systems needed at the YMCA.

This presentation was part of plenary session V and discussed the power and potential of the voluntary sector in humanitarian efforts and shortfalls of the current government. Additionally, she talked about the power of organizations like the YMCA to respond to change and confront the dangers of nuclear war, threats to the environment, and the continuing problem of world poverty. Some parts of Margaret Catley-Carlson’s speech were delivered in French.

The author evidently had access to records which no longer exist, and this chronicle is therefore a valuable source of facts.
