Joan MacDonald was a librarian at the University of Waterloo Libraries. MacDonald began as Reference and Collection Development Librarian at Davis Library in September 1981 and named Head, Davis Centre Library Reference and Collections Development in July 1986. MacDonald finished her career at Waterloo as Assistant University Librarian, Information Resources, a position she began in May 1999.
