Scope and content
Contains five news clippings. News clippings from 1980-1981 relate primarily to the Waterloo County Women Teachers' Association's aim to obtain a written policy guaranteeing equal-opportunity rights for women teachers from the county board of education. One clipping from 1988 reports that the receipt of a provincial award for employment equity advances by the Waterloo county board of education is an "embarrassment". Sue Coulter, a member of this board, says that this is the case because the board has failed to live up to the honour since receiving this award.
